Hello I’m Rebecca, owner of The Gel Art Academy (TGAA). I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a bit more about my academy so if you are an aspiring nail tech or a qualified nail teach who loves to learn new tips & tricks keep reading below!

I have always had a passion for creating small pieces of art which started when I was younger after receiving a ‘nail art kit’ from Argos one Christmas around the age of 7 - Yes, I had circled it in the catalog and waiting in anticipation all December to see if it would arrive)… I remember sitting on the floor in my bedroom spending hours trying to paint lots of silly designs with the minimal colours I had.

My love of nail art was put on hold for many years with life events and a different career path taking hold but in 2019 I took the plunge and decided to book myself on a course with The Gel Bottle Inc in London to qualify in Gel Polish treatments. Since then I have also trained and qualified in Builder Gel, Facials, Body massage and passed my AET Teaching & Education level 3 which has brought me to the present.

Between having a little boy and expecting another it has been a long process but I am so excited to share that I am now offering fully accredited courses and also masterclasses covering a range of nail treatments to enable you to follow your dream of becoming a nail tech. Whether it’s to work on friends & family, own a salon, work on a mobile basis I provide all of the extensive training to enable you to qualify, gain insurance and work safely on paying clients. I offer ongoing support as I believe after taking a course you should never feel unable to continue to ask questions. I started to really learn the career when I began working on clients and it was then I needed the extra support. This is something I always offer for any students who have taken or plan to take any of my courses.

With 1:1 in person training and now a online platform forming you have the option to train at your own pace, in the method that suits you and your lifestyle the best.
